Juliana Sorzano, LEED GA

Juliana Sorzano, LEED GA, completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Universidad de Los Andes in her home country of Colombia, where she is licensed to practice. Raised in a family that valued creativity of all forms, Juliana sought out a career that easily intertwined all artistic expressions, and found that in architecture. Seeking opportunities to further her career and live new experiences on her own, Juliana relocated to New York where she received a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Interior Environments from the New York School of Interior Design.

Prior to joining PJCArchitecture, Juliana gained invaluable experience designing a range of project types and working on construction management teams that afforded her a deep knowledge in the design/build project delivery method. Her extensive expertise covers a variety of project typologies including institutional, commercial, and residential projects. As a LEED Green Associate, Juliana works to educate clients on green solutions such as material repurposing, floor area efficiency, and light efficiency.

Juliana brings exceptional organizational skills and creative problem-solving capabilities to the PJCA team, while her native language helps her to collaborate more efficiently with diverse teams of contractors. Juliana believes that design is all about the functionality for the end user. The most rewarding part of her work is the satisfaction of unveiling a final design to a client. In her spare time, Juliana continues to explore other artistic passions such as graphic design and photography.
