PJCARCHITECTURE

PJCArchitecture was established by Philip J. Consalvo in 1998.

We pride ourselves on the design of beautiful and functional architecture.  And we understand the importance of design in the lives of our clients.

Our approach begins with practical considerations of budget, design issues, and overall client goals.  We work in collaboration with our clients, and we enjoy the energy of creative exchange throughout the process.

The PJCA team brings many combined years of experience in architecture, interior architecture, planning, and construction management in the US and abroad.  This experience enables us to build fruitful and fulfilling relationships with our clients, through architecture.

OUR TEAM

PHILIP J. CONSALVO, AIA
Principal

Philip J. Consalvo established PJCArchitecture in 1998. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey.

Philip brings over 25 years of professional practice experience. Prior to establishing PJCArchitecture, he served as project architect and designer for firms including Urbahn Associates, MR Architecture and Décor, Nandinee Phookan Architects, Tow Studios, and Menz and Cook Architects. He began his career at Fox and Fowle Architects working on design development through construction administration for projects including residential, corporate interiors, and new high-rise buildings.

Years of practice have afforded Phil experience with a range of project typologies and types of clients. He has completed renovations and new construction projects for residential, commercial, corporate, and non-profit clients. He has met budgets ranging from modest to high-end and instills each with unique design attention to detail.

Philip’s personal involvement in all phases of the firm’s projects helps foster innovative design solutions. His exploration into client goals becomes an integral part of the design process. A sensitivity to environment ensures that the client’s new and dynamic architectural spaces endure and grow with them.

His passion for architecture extends to history and the arts. He considers the interrelated disciplines of music, theater, and literature as appropriate to each project.

Philip graduated with honors from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Architecture. Following his participation, his work was recognized in an international urban design competition, Foro Mundial de Jovenes Arquitectos, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
